Our take
I grabbed this single 25 lb plate from Iron Grip to add some weight to my home gym. The urethane coating is nice – it feels dense and durable, and the grip edges make handling easier. It slides smoothly onto my Olympic bar and stays put. At $219 though, that's steep for just 25 lbs. I guess you're paying for the brand and coating. If you need just one plate to complete a set, it works great, but for a full set you'll spend a lot. Quality is there, but so is the price tag.
