I bought this 2.5-lb urethane grip plate to round out my set. The metallic-fiber material is a bit unusual—I expected solid iron, but it feels dense enough. The price of $22.99 seems steep for a 2.5-lb plate, but the urethane coating is nice and the grip handle works well. Like similar small plates, it's mainly for micro-loading. Make sure you really need such a small increment before buying. Otherwise, you might be better off with a larger plate.
